MACHINESHOP designed, engineered, and fabricated a custom, high-fidelity oversized prop for the Head & Shoulders Derma X Pro commercial campaign starring Claudia Winkleman. For this beauty and skincare commercial, our workshop focused on top-tier model making to create giant, hyper-realistic skincare elements that serve as the main visual hooks alongside the talent.

Advanced Large-Scale Prop Making & Workshop Engineering

Replicating organic skin care products and handheld beauty tools at an immense scale requires advanced machining accuracy, careful weight management, and camera-ready surface finishing. Our workshop team custom-engineered the visual assets for the set:

• Giant Handcrafted Jade Roller Prop: Fabricating a massive, ultra-realistic replica of a jade roller, utilizing specialized faux-stone paint finishes to mimic authentic mineral marbling under close-up lenses.
• Lightweight Structural Integrity: Utilizing durable yet lightweight composite materials and inner structural frameworks, allowing the production crew to handle and position the giant props easily on set.
• High-Definition Macro Finishing: Applying advanced buffing and gloss coatings to completely eliminate tooling lines, making the scaled assets 4K camera-ready for tight tracking shots.
